IYA is a multidisciplinary design and development studio based in the Balearic Islands, working across architecture, interiors, property development, and creative direction. Rooted in the Mediterranean landscape, the studio creates refined contemporary homes shaped by materiality, atmosphere, and a strong sense of place.

Founded by Duncan Crooke and Emma Jensen, the practice brings together expertise in high-end development, interior architecture, and design. Working across concept development, spatial design, curation, and project delivery, the studio approaches each project with an integrated and highly considered approach.

Duncan brings more than twelve years of experience in luxury property development, following an earlier career in finance law. His work spans acquisition, project structuring, design development, and the management of complex residential projects from concept through to completion.

Emma holds a First Class degree in Interior Design and Technology and has worked with a number of award-winning studios. Her work is informed by a strong architectural sensibility and a refined understanding of materiality, proportion, and spatial experience.

At the core of the studio is a progressive yet deeply contextual approach to design. Each project is shaped through a dialogue between architecture, landscape, texture, and light, balancing contemporary expression with craftsmanship, restraint, and enduring simplicity.

Drawing inspiration from the architectural heritage and natural landscapes of the Balearics, IYA Projects collaborates closely with local artisans, builders, and makers to create homes that feel timeless, tactile, and intrinsically connected to their surroundings.

Rather than adhering to a fixed aesthetic, the studio responds to the character of each property and its environment, creating spaces that feel considered, authentic, and designed to endure for generations.
