Conceptual Mallorcan Finca Restoration
Set among olive groves and vineyards in the rural landscape of Es Raiguer, with the Serra de Tramuntana rising beyond, Can Olivar is conceived as the sensitive restoration and contemporary reimagining of an existing Mallorcan finca.
This conceptual proposal preserves the soul, material character and agricultural heritage of the original estate, introducing carefully considered architectural interventions, renewed interiors and a more fluid relationship between the house, its terraces and the surrounding landscape. Drawing inspiration from the region’s centuries-old olive cultivation and winemaking traditions, the design brings together aged local stone, softly textured lime plaster, warm timber and traditional Mallorcan craftsmanship.
